2020 “Drive Through” Graduation

This year’s in-person, socially distant commencement is for graduates and ticketed vehicles only, but you are invited to follow along in celebration of the HHS Class of 2020 by watching via the HHS livestream link or by listening to KBBI AM 890!

Festivities will begin Monday, May 18 at 6:45 pm with a video and the playing of Pomp and Circumstance. The ceremony begins at 7 pm. A graduate vehicle procession will commence immediately upon the conclusion of the exercise, estimated to be around 8:30 pm. Community members are invited to gather, adhering to state health guidelines, to cheer and celebrate along the procession route which begins on the corner of Heath and Pioneer, proceeds West on Pioneer, then turns left down Greatland, ending at the intersection of the Sterling Highway.

Remember:

  • A video tribute to seniors will start at 6:45 pm
  • The ceremony starts right at 7:00 pm
  • The procession will start between 8:00 and 9:00 pm
  • The HHS parking lot area is for seniors and their families only
  • There will be no bathrooms available during the ceremony
  • Watch live on YouTube or listen on KBBI
  • The Homer community can support our Seniors by lining the procession route
